Yes, the only danger to using chaparral is if it s fresh.  The fresh plant contains alkaloids that can damage the liver.  Once the plant has been dried and aged for a few months the alkaloids are destroyed through oxidation.

So could put a bit in with my adrenal blend? Is this fine with all other herbs?

Yes, and yes.
