actually synthetic vitamins all have side effects one such side efffect is that they inhibit the natural vitamin from being assimulated by your body. therefore synthetics work against the body and I can believe that they would do the opposite of what real vitamins from food sources do. In other words they give short term symptomatic relief but long term side effects.
