I'm an ex-chef. Now just cooking for two most days. And sometimes for my grown son and friends...

I remember when we ate fiddleheads from beside the stoop, where the sun never quite got to, and no one in the whole neighborhood was eating these back then...

My favorite meal when I was a child was my mother's "spring casserole", and essentially "weeds" and baby veg.

and for dessert we had "chocolate Mouse"
as we called it.
