Can someone please tell me how to use the copper paddles from the parazapper to treat specific areas?

I'm trying to zap two specific areas; my uterus and my left shoulder. If I put the paddle/lead with the positive charge on my stomach (red line), am I supposed to hold the paddle with the ground or negative charge (green line) in my other hand away from my body? Or am I not supposed to not touch the negative paddle when I'm treating a certain spot? Should I just sit it away from my body?

Please help! I don't want to make my problems worse!
