I think there are some typos here.

"The proper activation of sodium chlorite solutions using citric acid is to use a 1:1 ratio when using 10% citric acid , and a 1:5 ratio when using 50% citric acid . That is 1 part 50% citric acid to 5 parts sodium chlorite. The proper activation time is 10 minutes."

I am confused.

Did you mean: 1:5 ratio when using 10% citric acid and a 1:1 ratio when using 50% citric acid?
