How long of a break did you take in between flushes? You may have lowered your bile pool, but I bet it's the zapper since you see a change when you do use it. Do this, continue with the zapper and don't eat any fat for 1-2 weeks to let your bile pool build. If it's still tan, it must be the zapper.
