So Gerson designed a program with less protien.
The calves liver is good for b-12 if you have enough enzymes to break down the protien, thats why some people get b12 shots, they are cancerous and do not have the enztmes to break down animal protien.
Awhile on Gerson will give a cancer patient more enzymes to get b12 out of liver.
Gerson is based on cellular chemistry and microbiology of the cells of very sick dying people.

Restoring a dying cancer or tuberculosis patient is done Gersons way for a reason.
To shrink tumors, kill cancer, you need enzymes and functioning cells, the diet restores function and enzymes to cells.
After cellular enzymes by gerson diet are restored, then liver for b12 will be good for b12 vitamin.

Cancer and tb etc., patients are missing a lot more then b-12, they are missing cellular enzymes for adp cycle, so gerson addresses stopping the cancer at the cellular dysfunction level, then addresses the anemia and other severe malnourishment and deficiencies.

Killing cancer is like putting a house fire out, you have to put the fire out first, to stop the fire from spreading. You rebuld the damage after the fire is out.

Correcting cellular function is Gersons first priority, enzymes from diet, then rebuilding correcting anemia can occur.

Many cancer patients got cancer etc from meat and dairy, thier bodies do not digest meat and dairy properly, not enough enzymes to break down protien . Gerson diet address that condition.
