Salut, all. I've been on the phone & web ALL WEEK trying to find out how to shield myself from SmartMeters, which are coming to every home in my state soon. The meters communicate wirelessly at 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz, using pulses of electromagnetic radiofrequency radiation. I'd like to shield myself from this but am not sure how. I spent all day arguing online w/ different electricians & some say that only walls of SOLID metal sheets or solid metal foil, such as Mu-Copper, will shield a person from the fx such frequencies. Others say that a fine metal mesh, like as fine as mosquito netting, would do the job. So WHO'S RIGHT? It seems I have no barometer here. I was just going to order a Faraday canopy from Less EMF; it's basically a silver-lined fine mesh net you put over your bed, and they make clothes out of the same material. I'm also very chemically sensitive & live in a tent, so I hesitate to surround my tent with a structure covered in radiation-blocking paint or metal wallpaper with adhesives on it. Would a fine metal mesh canopy shield me from frequent, strong bursts of 900 MHz to 2.5 GHz radiation, or do I really need to look into a properly sealed enclosure?

Thanks!
