Hey guys, I'm asking this because I've noticed that for the entire time that I've had a 24/7 brain fog (it began and hasn't lifted in about 3 years), I've always been tired. I get plenty of sleep each night, usually 9 hours at the very bare minimum, and keep a regular schedule to maximise sleep quality. It takes me about 15-30 minutes to fall asleep, but once I am I'm completely out until I wake up. Thing is, I never wake up refreshed anymore, and have never felt truly alert, awake and clear-headed since the time I had the fog. I truly think that if I somehow eliminate the sleepiness, the fog will lift as well. Every day I'm constantly yawning, no matter how much sleep I get. I'm 17, I do not snore and I am not overweight, so sleep apnea is extremely unlikely.
I suspect that I have candida; can candida make me feel this drowsy all the time? It's a constant 24/7 thing; the fog has not lifted and it's hard to identify any patterns or causes. My diet is completely primal (aka paleo) and do plenty of walking (vigorous exercise is somewhat rare). Any thoughts?
Thanks!
