Great read - Thank you Uny!

I have been drinking and CE-ing distilled water for about a year now and it sure seems to enhance my health. It took me about 6 months into my journey to finally get that you really need pure water, duh!

I am tossing out a question and situation that seems remote and I am just going to hope someone has an answer.

I finally got around to installing an RO system last month - I had researched them for nearly a year. Well it's working fine, the TDS (dissolved solids) monitor says what is going in is like 130 and what is coming out is like a 9. This is city tap water that I am filtering.

Here is the question - my wife and children report no issues with drinking the RO water. I on the other hand get cramps, gas and pain in my GI tract when I drink this water.

I can drink the water directly from the tap with none of these issues but after the filtering the cramps/gas/pain kick in?

I am back to drinking distilled water (less convenient) but no issues with the GI tract.

I am at a total loss for the cause but wanted to share the story and see if anyone might have a suggestion as to why the GI issues manifest with the RO water?

I did a PH test and the tap and the RO water are around 8.2 and the distilled is just around 6.9 if that information helps anyone.

Sometime I plan to pick up some local 'RO' water from whole foods to see if that water gives me issues as part of the 'figure this out' project.

-Blessings
