Yes, I take Cholestyramine once a day---and it has worked wonders for my IBS-D. I'm just really annoyed that for years the doctors kept blowing me off when I talked about how limiting the IBS-D was for me. So, finally, my doctor listened and prescribed it. BTW, the generic name for it is "Prevalite" --- and I have mentioned using it before in my posts here at CZ.

Just one thing to note --- if you take other prescription meds, be sure to read the Cholestyramine directions carefully---you really have to time when you take it.
