Licorice can be processed to remove the glycyrrhiza, resulting in DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice), which does not appear to share the metabolic disadvantages of licorice. ********************************************************

OK, since the store did not have the DGL form, I wrongly thought of using the tea. NO MORE tea for hubby. I will find the DGL form for sure. Thank you very much NP for helping me solve this! Have a nice day ;-)
