Hey Waverly,

Thx for the reply. Don't get me wrong I really really am glad I found Curezone, BUT with that same token I think some people here get too lost in the process and end up going to the extreme on everything. Furthermore its almost impossible for anyone to give you sound specific advice tailored to YOU without seeing you. A perfect example of this was my coated tongue. Coated tongues occur for a variety of different reasons I highly doubt I would have ever figured it out by the advice on this board because everyone was leading me to believe I had an issue with my intestines. Not only that, as soon as you get an answer, a couple other people will disagree with it, which just makes you feel lost. Add that to the fact that your already sick and desperate for an answer, it becomes overwhelming at times, at least it was for me. Again I love Curezone, but I like the health medium more. I believe staying on here too much daily can actually prevent healing by making you try too many different things that become counter productive.

I'm completely against Western medicine in general, in fact I went to my GP two weeks ago for my tongue and she prescribed me a bunch of medication. I never even considered taking them, so I just didn't go pick up the prescription. I guess I shouldn't speak for everyone on Curezone, but rather myself. I began to get really caught up and lost in the process of trying to heal from whatever it is I may have had.... I say that SPECIFICALLY like that for a reason. Too many people see a list of symptoms whether its here or else where on the 'net and begin self diagnosing. I think this is the BIGGEST MISTAKE you can make.

So many symptoms over lap with different diseases, you could spend months, if not years fighting something you never had.

In regards to functional medicine practitioners, yes they are expensive. I have literally changed my ENTIRE life over the past year to be able to get back to 100% good health and I'm almost there. I sold my car, completely stopped going out to the bars and drinking, stopped buying material items to be able to change my lifestyle around.

I now eat completely organic, unprocessed food. I sleep on time (big key to recovery from anything IMO) and saved up to work with these guys.

I have worked with two different ones over the past year and got some good info, but then quickly saw them try and sell me stuff I didn't need. So I dropped them, and found a very very well respected guy that's about an hour away from me. I also want to get into this industry, so I figure as part of my time with him I can get help on that as well.

They are charging me $200/hour, but have said I won't need any lab results because I have already done 3 labs over the past year for adrenal health, GI health and mucosal barrier function. They have indicated I will only need a few sessions, so most likely will spend about 800 or so for 5 sessions. To me the money is worth it and then some a) to get sound advice to become and stay healthy and prevent disease b) to avoid taking pharmas without reason c) to help jump start my career in this industry while I'm working part time.

All the best,
