EMC, congratulations on your decision to start !

Your story sounds familiar and reminds me the time when I started back in Jan...similar situation with obesity (I was in my all time high 210 lbs...) and I received the same doctor's advise...I had an accident ( in Dec_) and I was in and out the hospital with MRI, X-ray etc when my blood pressure readings were high.This was terrifying to me - my mother was on BP medication all her life and I didnt want to live this way at all...The scary part was that noone could tell me how long I had had the issue with the BP -I had no symptoms...
I was surfing the I-net to read about BP and what the causes were when I bumped into this web side...Had no clue what Water Fasting means but started it right way - my 1 fast was 14 days . My BP dropped immediatelly from 164 in the beggiining down to 120, I lost 23 lbs and I felt great.I was very impressed and I started reading every word in this blog and the links provided. I was horrified what we do to our boddies eating unhealthy year after year...
I do my fasts once a season. I wish I could try 40 days but I am not sure whether I would ever be able to

Please, dont forget how you felt today deciding to start. This is the best thing you have ever done for yourself !
