Hello, I'm posting to try to get opinions from people who have been positively diagnosed with aspergillus /black mold poisoning. The reason is that Ive been very ill and my wife has tested positive for it but I have tested negative. Here's my story in brief: I went abroad to the states for two weeks in January(which makes me wonder if its something else). Came back and was feeling fine for a week or so. The ceiling of our kitchen was blanketed in black mold which I started doing work on( not knowing the dangers of it). Then I got seriously dizzy/headaches/pain in the eyes/blurry vision. Went to the doctor and got Antibiotics and felt fine for awhile. Then the same symptoms came back in a milder form and persisted on and off for several months. In about June then I got a massive headache one day and then went rapidly downhill from there: bone/joint pains, pain in organs, pain in genitals/bladder, digestive disturbances and complete exhaustion. Basically right now I feel like a 90 year old with arthritis. Does this sound like Aspergillus/Black Mold Poisoning?
