There are lots of man made issues that exacerbate these things to be sure... it is said that currently there is plenty of *food*... and that most of the starvation going on in the world today is a result of political and social *wars*...

in addition, the nutritional quality of the food sucks, which affects fecundity... and the chemical toxicity of it is also a factor to human health and reproduction.
