My upper leg is very tender to touch. It feel like something has rubbed it til it has become irritated. I have no rash and it looks completely normal. This has been going on for about a month. Now the skin on my stomach has some of the same feeling. Clothing bothers me.

My father had fallen and broken his neck. For the next 3 1/2 months I was sitting in a hospital room, just sitting with him so no exercise. He passed away and when I started getting back to normal activity, the muscle above my knee (about 5 inches above)in both legs seemed weak but that has gone away but now I have tender skin just on one leg and on that leg the muscle above the knee does feel tender also. My leg feels better when I shave.
I have used Eucalyptus oil on it but that hasn't really helped so I have even tried Clobetasol but that seems to irritate it also.
I am at my wit's end. Please can you help?? Thank you.
