You read my entire article and the only cure you came away with was eye exercises? I suggest you read the article again.  How do you know that no amount of nutrition will help?  It certainly helps prevent eye problems and the article was about both improving and maintaining good vision. In the case of myopia, which is caused by a defect in the lense, nutrition and herbs and such may help somewhat and may certainly help prevent futher deterioration, but it will likely take eye exercises and/or pinhole glasses to help correct.  Hope as you might, there is no magic solution in a bottle for correcting such a defect, though some items such as eyebright and saffron have been reported to help.  The only instant "cure" is laser surgery, and my article was about natural solutions.

I looked back at some of your previous posts so that I might get some clues to what might help you. When it comes to nutrition, I see that you have said that you eat healthily, yet you also posted elsewhere that you have had binge eating problems, skin problems and body odor problems.  Are you sure that your diet and lifestyle are really that healthy?  You also posted that you don't like eye exercises because they make your eyes hurt.  So, have you really tried them consistently for any length of time to be able to make your declaration that they are a joke? Of course eye exercises, or the lack thereof, do not CAUSE myopia, but I submit that you really don't know whether or not they might help you.  Try them every day for three months without fail and then come back and tell us what a joke they are.

By the way, how does one become "infected" with myopia?  At the tender age of only 18, how is it that you know so much that you can reject things out of hand because you already know they won't work? I was 18 once and knew it all too, not to mention being immortal.  Long about 30 or so I figured out I didn't know Jack or many of his friends either.  Now, at the tender age of 58 I think I have figured a few things out, probably have some things still wrong, and continue to learn every day (hopefully more right than wrong).

Bella, I am truly sorry that you have myopia and hope that you find a way to improve it.  You won't find it by hoping for some miracle cure or by not putting in the effort though.  It may be that corrective lenses or laser surgery are your only options for achieving normal or near normal vision, but you won't know that for sure unless you at least try other options.  Such options have worked for others and they could work for you too.  Who knows, you might change your ID here to Bellaisglad.

Good luck and good health,

DQ
