Although these light globes are more energy efficient, they do have a lot of problems, mainly with disposal at the end of their life. If you are using these lights, proper disposal is vital, as well as being aware of the dangers if you happen to break one accidentally.

There are other lighting alternatives, such as halogen and LEDs. Both are safer and just as efficient.
