The main difference is that Mercola is focused and doesn't cut off his nose to spite his face. Curezone is massively scattered. Internet success is all about focused niches. Trying to be everything to everybody makes the branding very weak.

When you have so many forums all opposing each other, that sets up massive incoherency and thus butchers credibility in the process.
