Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.
yes I've been reading up on the Chinese med perspective of internal dampness. I DO drink 80-90oz of cold water everyday between meals.
The coating has some hair like projections down the middle of my tongue and when I use a tongue cleaner looks much much better. However by the morning it starts to return and the taste in my mouth is worse than morning breath in my honest opinion.
I'm planning on making some cultured veggies and seeing if that helps, but I'd just really like to know what this damn thing is!
And I am very regular, I go at least once a day and sometimes twice. Usually its healthy and solid, sometimes its broken up, I suspect those are the times when I'm not eating enough fiber.
I can't help but think it is somehow related to my diet though, I mean I'm eating a bucket load of animal meat/fat everyday, perhaps my liver could use some help with that.
Its really overwhelming trying to wrap your arms around this, but I suppose I should just start trying different remedies.
Is a healthy tongue suppose to be completely pink according to Chinese medicine? Or is there suppose to be a thin clear layer on top?
Also I have plenty of saliva, no issues with dry mouth.
