Hi Kandice,
Extreme weakness characterized both my previous Water Fasts (38 and 18 days). It took me ages to perform my regular daily tasks; I am a staying at home person taking care for my husband and daughter.

I walked extremely slowly, I could barely speak (just whispered) and my voice sounded like frog croaking; I could hardly carry half empty laundry basket; ascending and descending stairs were humongous achievements; dusting and vacuuming seemed to be such complicated that I had to divided them into chunks. I drove my car every day but my reflexes were so diminished that I was often honked at. My mood was absolutely low, world was distant and I somehow felt that I was surrounded by the wall of constant hum and whistling.

I continued my fasts despite of my weakness because I waited for return of a true hunger and did not want to be a wimp; however after 2-3 weeks I had to give up. I have never achieved a state of true hunger.

I have a strong personality, I am athletic and slim,I exercise every day; I jump rope, ride bicycle, skate or ski. I have been almost 100% raw vegan for several years, I simply love vegetable juice with the pulp; I NEVER eat any junk, I never buy sugar. However, I also have had chronic sinusitis for more than 20 years.

I realize that my body must be a host for a lot of toxins so I still need WF. Weakness during Water Fast is a norm for me; I have no pangs of hunger, no headache, no vomiting, no pain. Nothing but huge weakness for me, I guess.

Kandice, you are not alone in your weakness. I hope your weakness will not be as draining as to make you stop.I wish you a lot of strength.
