I really wasnt trying to cause debate, I was simply questioning certain claims. All one needs to do is go back through my posts and see that I wasnt trying to cause trouble. I agreed with many assessments here, I even replied fairly to IC's original post in the previous thread. grz and others were the ones that started the debate. Should I have simply avoided the BS and not replied. Probably. But you cant blame me for starting it. I simply responded to what was thrown out in front of me.
I've apologized to Julie, and have tried to explain my position, which has seemed to fallen on deaf ears. And even though I've tried to explain my motives and assure people that I agree with them for the most part, I'm still getting accused of bein a paid BP or government agent.
Should I just leave? Maybe. Should I be banned. No. At least not alone. There are others here who should get the paddling too.
I DO think its interesting that all of a sudden a thread has formed stating suggestions that are on topic with the name of the forum.
Where do you draw the line? How do topics about CIA assasinations, the politburo, and plans to take over the world have anything to do with the issue at hand, which is helping the people in the Gulf with health issues.
Perhaps more than two Gulf disaster forums are needed.
