This is a common tactic used by some posters to try and discredit those that disagree with the group opinion, or the personal opinion of the particular poster using this tactic.

The tactic is to try and create some sort of Conspiracy surrounding the person (in this case you), by insinuating that you have ulterior motives for having a differing opinion, you are somehow an agent (paid or otherwise) of either a corporation, some government secret society, etc etc.

They use insinuation because they would have to provide proof of the claim, if they actually came right out and accused you.
Making snide comments and suggestions, such as "patterns forming", is the cowards way of trying to discredit someone.

If the insinuations don't work then the tactic is to claim that you are trying to censor the information, or "stop the flow of information", meaning, you disagree with what they are saying, and they don't like it.

When you try and defend yourself against these insinuations, assumptions and accusations, they will try and play the old, "its just an observation" card, "so why are you so upset, oh it must be true" etc etc.

There is nothing wrong with having a differing opinion, in some cases it can add balance to an unbalanced thread, and provide a different view of a situation or information.
