Hv, enemas and colonic irrigation seem to be very popular these days, but I wonder if they could cause the bowel to become lazy, much like the constant use of laxatives.
I can understand the short term or single use of an enema to relieve constipation, or to deliver a substance when the person is unable to take it by mouth, but what I don't understand is why anyone would want to do repeated enemas or colonic irrigation for issues that can be treated in other ways.
What are your thoughts on this.
I think part of it is that people tend to think if something is too simple that it cannot work. It is like with the Rife units. A simple $100 fixed frequency unit will work fine, but people would rather spend thousands on one with lots of bells and whistles just because it looks more complicated and high tech.
With the coffee enemas I think that it has a lot to do with the myth that people think the caffeine absorbed from the colon somehow will not adversely effect the adrenals in the same way that it will when drunk. I have been in this debate before with people. Caffeine is caffeine though. No matter is oral or rectal it is going to have the same effects.
