Did you really mean to say take 5000 IU of vitamin D3?

I take Citracal, Calcium Citate plus D3. It is 500 IU of Vitamin D and 630 mg of calcium. 5000 IU would require taking ten pills. Is that right?

I also read somewhere that Vitamin D should be taken at bedtime and not during the day.
