i have leaky gut and want to stop eating for a week. however, it gives the doctors pause. is it safe to fast/cleanse while drinking a bit of fruit juice to support the blood Sugar and taking the detox supplements (vitamin c, lipoic acid, glutathione) to expel toxins? i also sauna and get colonics. someone please give me some opinion.

do the doctors hesitate because they think you will actually 100% not eat?
