Yes, it does sound like allergies.

I've followed everything you have listed for building the adrenals religiously for quite some time.

Stress does not help.  Also make sure you are avoiding stimulants like caffeine.

Would poor posture have anything to do with this?

If it is causing pain this would stress the adrenals.
