 Is there a reason that I have such extreme issues when dealing with my period? Too much estrogen?

All I saw you mention about your periods is the severe menstrual cramping.  This is likely from a lack of magnesium and/or too much calcium. Elevated prostaglandins can also contribute to this.  Consumption of high amounts of meat can increase prostaglandin levels.
