Hello lolite I went to the doctors today and showed Him your reply about my iron levels and b12 evels. And the egotistic idiot said he disagrees with your suggestion. But your suggestion makes sence with me. Also I said to him that i get cold easier than other people and get tired easily etc, and he said to me that 'being feeling cold isnt a symptom of hypothyroidism'...I was thinkin wtf that is one BIG symptom of hypothyroidism...getting cold easier than other people, so WTF is he on about?

Also He said that, as far as he's concerned the blood tests show him that im 'fine' and that I may be right in that I may have symptoms leading upto a Hypothyroid state, But the levels show that Im 'normal' So he cant help me at all... wtf?

Anyway I got all the values from my past blood tests from him today. Except Vit D which hasnt been tested yet.

2008
Thyroid TSH: 0.91 (0.2 - 4)
Haemoglobin: 13.8 (12-18)
White count: 5.7 (3-11)
Platelets: 200 (140-400)
Glucose: 4.3
MCV: 82 (80-99)

Ferratin: 9
B12: 589
Folic acid: 6

2010
Thyroid TSH: 1.8 (0.2 - 4)
Haemoglobin: 14.5 (12-18)
White count: 7 (3-11)
Platelets: 272 (140-400)
Glucose: 4.7
MCV: 83 (80-99)

Ferratin: 62
B12: 481
Folic acid: 4.4

Calcium: 2.48
Creatinine: 89
CRP: 1
LFT: I was told 'normal'
Bone: I was told 'normal'

My Blood pressure: 120/72 (100/60 - 140/90)

It shows that my ferratin has gone up since 2008, but also shows that my B12 has gone down along with my folic acid level.

The doctor just said that '9 isnt a low ferratin count, because it all depends what your MCV is'. But i thought 9 is a VERY low ferratin Value. And also my MCV is so small, WHY?

What you guys think?

and Thanks people youve been very helpful!
