Hi all,

I was wondering what happens to one's gut flora when on an extended fast? Does anyone have links to any articles or books about this? I don't think I've seen any reference to gut flora in all my research on fasting.

All those microbes who live off the food we feed our bodies - what happens to them when there is a sudden absence of food for weeks?
