interesting, thanks. Trapper, any thoughts on that? The part that jumped out at me:
"...Although individuals with underlying autoimmune thyroid disease are more likely to develop complications of excess Iodine ingestion." I do think I've got an autoimmune thing, I know I've heard Brownstein say Hashimoto's with me, but I found out yesterday there's a specific antibody that shows up on testing for that, and I need to find out what my lab results were. Someone here recommended a book that suggests if you've got underlying immune problem that's attacking the thyroid, supplemental Iodine and natural thyroid hormone are still just a band-aid on the problem and the reason that approach doesn't work for some people. If that's true, I'm wondering if I'm in that category. My white cell counts and lymphocytes were quite low, though that could be the case if this nurse I've been seeing is right about the chronic virus/Epstein Barr thing. Geez, it's fun being human, eh?
