Hi iolite,

Thank you very much for such a thorough response.  I don't think I have Hashi's 'cause my thyoid isn't inflamed and it doesn't run in my family. Yes, I've been to Janie's website and her Yahoo Group.  Very helpful and tons of info.  The one drawback with the Yahoo Group (not just her's but all of them) is that once a post "scrolls of the screen," the response rate drops to zilch. Not so with CureZone.

Yep, the fatigue is a bear. I was doing 3 dropperfuls of Atomidine rubbed on my gut but finally had to stop. But even that didn't help reduce the fatigue so I stopped the Atomidine drops for now and am doing lots of sea salt (3 tspns in 1/2 teaspoon doses yesterday) but even that's not clearing up the fatigue. I guess there's a long residual effect of halides and/or heavy metals once iodine stirs them up.

In so many words, you mentioned "switching" from the KI tabs to Iodoral or Lugol's. I'm sticking with the KI tabs for now as I don't want to keep "stirring up a hornet's nest." But are you saying that I might expect fewer detox symptoms with them even at their much higher doses? (I'd certainly go for that!)

Swanson and iHerb are great sources. Been using them for years. Absolutely nobody beats Swanson for "bend over backwards" service!

Heard good things about Erfa. Can you recommend a good pharmacy in Canada in the event my tests bear out the need for generic Armour.

What do you know about Dr. Flechas? I've been listening to his radio interviews and his YouTube lecture and think he rates right up there with Dr. Brownstein. (They're the only one's I'm familiar with at this point.) I was surprised to hear him say that he feels that sometimes a hypo on iodine can ween off of Armour. (He did it himself.) In all my research, I'd not read that perspective. Any thoughts on this?

He also said that "If you take supplemental thyroid hormones, you inhibit the ability of the body to absorb iodine.  That is why they recommend to patients about to received radioactive-iodine scans that they go off all thyroid hormones for two to three weeks prior to the scan." So Iodine must be taken before thyroid hormones as well as before salt and antioxidants. Is this your understanding, too?

Solaray Thyroid caps Anomaly
After giving it some thought, which is difficult with this level of brain fog, I remember that I started Atomidine right after I got the boost of energy from the Solaray thyroid. So my best guess is that the bromism from the iodine has been negating the benefits from Solaray's thyroid. (I'm hoping to recreate the energy boost by going back to square one.)

Thanks again, iolite.

Paul
