To put a lovely sensitive child into the hands of grotesque mortal minded parents is like putting a beautiful tropical flower on the cliffs of a frozen alpine mountain. The flower, like the child, just withers up and dies inside.
Christian Science can help the adult children of such tragic circumstances and background. Remember Jesus said, a man must be born again, a second birth, into the spirit, to see the kingdom of heaven. This second birth or rebirth is surrounded by love, Mother father Gods divine tender love.
To hear the voice of God, a person must be very quiet and still, and listen for the quiet voice within. That is God answering our prayers. You know it is the voice of God because Gods voice is always good and always loving.
And yes, other people can be hell, that is why true seekers enjoy thier quiet time with God and Christian Science study, they find delight and contentment in Gods company.
Most people find the day when friends betray and family is not there, that is the opportunity to seek and find that God is and always has been and always will be there for us.
Try focusing on the love and knowledge of God and healing that is shared on the http://www.spirituality.com
website
Error and mortal mind ignoring God, create a myrad of evil phantasmagoria, hallucinations, to distract us from the truth, the knowledge that omnipotent, omnipresent God is in control and governing our daily lives. Think of evil/error/sickness/injustice as nothing, a big zero, trying to pretend it is something.
Focus on all good God and seek to understand Mother father God.
Error creates a zillion and one distractions to keep us from knowledge and communion with God.
