Hello - I am writing this in near tears because I sing for a living, and I am loosing my voice. It kind of happened all of a sudden. My vocal range pretty much dropped like I had hit puberty or something. (I am 34, so puberty was a LONG TIME AGO) I can not hold a tone for near as long. When I workout I have a wheezing sound when exhaling. It is subtle, but it's something I've never had before until now. When running I get a slight burning/pinching feeling in my throat. I just started running to try and see if that would help, so maybe that is more of a "out of shape" feeling?

I'm at a loss to why this is. This is a list of health issues I either have had or struggle with. When I was born I had breathing difficulties, struggled with bronchitis. By age 10 I did not struggle with this anymore. Had Acne from 15-21. Not sure if there is any connection at all.
I have a type of acid reflux that I only feel in my throat. I don't get a burning stomach or anything from the throat down. That does not mean there isn't anything wrong down there, but where I feel it is in the throat. This is probably the culprit, but I don't know what to do about it. I eat healthy, and haven't changed anything in my diet. Probably could argue I've added more fruits and vegetables than before. My throat feels like it is wet and sticky a couple times per day.

Sorry to come in here and just bitch. But, I don't really trust most modern medicine. I've been on Antibiotics , and antifungals before and would rather not do them anymore.
