These are roundworm larvae. Roundworm eggs travel in the blood and are deposited in the lungs. When they hatch out - they "hitch a ride" in pheglm. Whn you cough and swallow OR clear your throat and swallow - they travel to the intestines where they grow to adult size and the cycle begins again.

OCCASIONALLY one of these will crawl into the sinus cavaties - this is what some have come out of their noses during a parasite cleanse.
