Dr. Mom,

Hi there! My son is 6 1/2 months and has been on solids for about a month now. During this time he has only had Avacado, Banannas, Sweet Potatoes, Pears, Peaches, Prunes, Carrotts, Apples and Squash. I have given him most of the fruits Raw and pureed but the veggies have steamed lightly and pureed. He gets a rash around his mouth immediately when eating just about Anything but ESPECIALLY the fruits. Is this so me sort of Allergic Reaction or a natural reaction due to the acid in the food, etc?

The Eczema on his forehead did go away but suddenly came back with a vengence in the last week and trying to spread. I have not started him on any oils yet but am wandering if I should just give him flax seed oil in his bottle or Udo's mixed oils. How much daily?
