Sorry to jump on this forum bandwagon! For what it's worth, I agree with UKMUM - I'm a UK mum too and my GP took my mirena out in April - both quickly and painlessly. I think she could see the menace in my eyes so didn't argue! great news that you are now feeling better UKMUM, I'm not there yet....the crushing fatigue has improved as well as the numbness in my fingers and toes. I no longer feel sick ALL THE TIME but I'm still experiencing a range of cyclical symptoms the like of which I never had before I agreed to this blasted coil. Did you do anything special to speed things along....or is it just a case of waiting for the body to right itself? I'm getting fed up with the symptoms arriving out of the blue.
Any advice you could offer, i would be grateful!
