There are many reasons for hypo but it is still a matter of the liver storing and releasing glycogen which completely and totally controls blood sugar levels.

Once again what causes the liver to break down the glycogen and release glucose?  Is it a liver enzyme? No.  Is it a liver hormone? No.  Are they adrenal hormones? Yes.  The liver is not like the pancreas, which can respond to blood sugar levels independently.  The liver has to be "told" to store or release glycogen/glucose by adrenal hormones. So it is the adrenals that help regulate the blood sugar levels, not the liver.

It is like the thyroid.  The thyroid can produce T4 and T3, but not independently.  The thyroid has to be "told" to generate these hormones by other hormones.

You really need to stop getting your medical "facts" from comic books.
