Hi Forum!

How is diagnosis done in natural healing?

Of course there's no need for diagnosing toxins or lack of nutrients in our bodies, because everyone is more or less full of toxins and is also more or less lacking nutrients from fresh living foods.- So it's a must for everyone to do thorough cleansing, get the right nutrition and also do all the other things that keep us healthy (avoid EMFs, get sun, work out, etc...)

So probably - please anyone correct me! - there's no need to always diagnose exactly what someone is dealing with, because as long as the person seriously does all of the above, there are good chances he will be healed. And once he/she is healed, it doesn't really matter whether his symptoms were mostly related to this organ or that organ.- So in that context diagnosis seems to loses a bit of importance.

But is it not true that everyone who is dealing with symptoms has one ore more "key organs" involved, that are particularly compromised and need special care in the form of herbs? So even if the general cleansing/nourishing is done, could it be that this is (sometimes) not enough and specific organs should be supported with herbs in order for the healing to take place at all or at least for it to happen faster?

And now how do we find out which organs need special care?

Ok, in some cases this is not difficult at all. If someone (like myself) has the skin covered with lots of red bumps with pus on them that absolutely look like a bacterial or fungal infection it most likely IS a bacterial/fungal infection leading to the conclusion that antimicrobial herbs should be chosen to fight this infection. Probably we should be thankful for everything that shows on the skin because we can actually SEE what is going on and also draw conclusions as to which organs (that we cannot see) might need special attention.

Then there are cases when we can't see anything, but from the symptoms that the person reports and also from his former lifestyle (including medication, etc.) we can tell that MAYBE OR PROBABLY this or that organ is involved and start giving herbal support for those organs. And those cases can probably range from very easy to diagnose to very hard to diagnose.
Let me give you an example (of myself): I always have had cold hands/feet, very thin hair + dry skin and also feel tired often. - All symptoms that are at the top of the list for hypothyroid-symptoms. So when I told Uny about those symptoms a few months ago her guess (or maybe it was more than a guess and she was even very sure, I don't know her degree of certainty) was hypothyroidism. So at that time the diagnosis was at a certain degree of being correct. Hypothyroidism would also have been my best guess, but at that time I (and maybe also Uny) would not have excluded the possibility of another organ than the thyroid to be mainly involved here (I'm not saying the cause, because the thyroid is of course not the cause of anything, the cause is always toxins/malnutrition and other bad influences or lack of good influences). When I found out a few months later that I had been ingesting unusually large amounts of fluoride in the form of a special toothpaste for many years, and I read that one of the main if not THE main damage of fluoride is hypothyroidism, it was absolutely clear to me (and Uny) that I am dealing with hypothyroidism. So the original diagnosis turned out to be correct. But the level of its certainty only rose very high by finding out about the fluoride-poisoning.

So the more information we have (symptoms, former lifestyle...), the easier it is to make a correct diagnosis that leads to the correct choice of herbs (and other natural therapies), and the more likely/ the faster the healing takes place. But what do we do when the person cannot (or doesn't want to make the effort)remember crucial things from his past? What do we do when there were bad influences (mold, etc.) at some point of his life that he was never aware of? What do we do when the symptoms reported by the person could mean a million of things? - I have no experience, but to me it seems like these uncertain cases are quite often.

So I think when making a diagnosis (sorry this term sounds very mainstream-medicine-like. By diagnosis I mean, finding out which organs need special herbal support) it is most important to find out which symptoms the person is experiencing and which things have been part of his past lifestyle (basically the list that Uny asks everyone: Nutrition, water, etc...)

But - especially for the difficult to diagnose cases - are there other methods that we should use in natural healing in order to get a good diagonis?

There are a lot of absolutely non-invasive methods of diagnosis that I have come across in the past, but I have no experience with them and so have not at all an opinion if any of them could be of help. The only thing that seems to be true to me is that among the users of the methods, there are a lot of people who seem absolutely unskilled and thus make wrong and dangerous diagnoses. But are the methods themselves worth using, and should we thus make use of them, given that we can find a good practitioner?

Let me list a couple of methods that come to my mind:

- Iridiology (not sure, but if I remember correctly, Dr. Schulze use that method)
- Hand analysis
- Pendulum/Biotensor
- Various biofeedback machines
- Pulse diagnosis
- Tongue diagnosis
- clairvoiant people that can see the situation of the organs

There are many more, I just made a quick list.

And finally, is there any value in certain orthodox methods of diagnosis? I'm not talking about X-Rays and other dangerous procedures. I'm especially thinking about the lab tests (sure, putting a needle into the body is not natural, but I would think a body can deal with that). Is there any value in blood testing? Can we tell by doing blood tests, that this or that organ is compromised? Maybe/probably there are differences in the value of the various blood tests, meaning that some are complete nonsense whereas others actually can provide reliable information regarding the health of certain organs.

So, many questions that I have been asking myself lately and I'm sure everyone could benefit from a clearer picture of what diagnosis in natural healing should look like and how it should not look like.It would be great to hear what you think. Do you have experiences/opinions on the lsit I made of the various methods of diagnosis? What do you think of blood tests? Do you think the methods (Iridiology,etc..) I listed and blood testing are needless? Do you think that the information that a person provides (symptoms, past lifestyle..) will in the most cases be enough for a good diagnosis? How important do you think is diagnosis generally speaking?

Everyone have a great start into the week,
healthiest greetings,
Solmare
