I have been struggling with Candida for a long time now, and I have cut (almost) all refined Sugar from my diet. That seemed to help a lot, as the white coating on my tongue got much better.

I started using Turmeric about a week ago (mostly because of inflammation in my shoulder) - the first three days I felt great, but then slowly started to feel flu-ish.

I take half to one teaspoon of turmeric in milk with a little cinnamon, ginger and cayenne pepper.

At the moment my whole body is aching, but I do not really have a fever.

Could the turmeric be causing a Herxheimer reaction? Is this a healing crisis? Or do I just have the flu? I hardly ever get the flu.
