I'm one of the lucky ones that was blessed with terrible eczema on my face. I did some research and found Leaky Gut Syndrome and decided fasting was well worth a try.

My question is, are there any known cases of someone with this autoimmune disease having symptoms flare up while on day 13/14 of a water fast? If so, are there any explanations?

I would like to think that after eating nothing, there could BE nothing for the body to react to. Wouldn't the blood be clean after this long?

Nevertheless I will of course continue on my fast until I reach genuine hunger, in the meantime I am just looking for some guidance. Perhaps I'm just getting antsy.

Please, any help is appreciated.
