Pioneer1,
I see that you have a lot of experience with colon cleansing and therefore would like your input. I've suffered from constipation all my life and last year started the Schulze products on an off, but mostly the IF1, the laxative herbs.
In July I've done a 7 day juice fast while taking the Schulze IF1&2 formulas 4-5 times a day. Then I started eating relatively normally, meaning a vegetarian, clean diet. While I had a few bm's that could be interpreted as mushy plaque, I never got the proverbial ropes out. Instead, as time passed and I kept with my cleanse, I noticed that my belly grew to large proportions instead of deflating. I realized that I was not eliminating all the psyllium shakes that I was ingesting. I kept doing all kinds of enemas until I realized that the stuff is not in my colon but in the small intestine. How could it get stuck there? I only had 1 bm a day during this time. The IF1 stopped working so well, I guess my colon got used to the stimulation.
It's been about a month since I started the first cleanse and now I decided to give it one more shot. I am juice fasting again in the hope that this will jump start the cleansing process. I am using psyllium that is mixed with oat bran and apple pectin, no charcoal and no bentonite. I have the feeling the combination of bentonite and charcoal turns the psyllium to glue. I am three days into this fast and have not seen any movements that indicate that the old psyllium is being moved out.
Do you have any other suggestions? How can I cleanse the small intestine if the psyllium isn't doing the job?
