As DQ has stated, Vitamin D is NOT a drug, otherwise it would have been patented long ago for pharmas profit machine.

When will you ever learn John, that Cholecalciferol (D3) is a NUTRIENT, the same as ascorbate (Vitamin C) is a nutrient, and not a drug.
Nutrients cannot be patented because they are NOT drugs.
