In my day, when I had stocks, it was
like pulling hen's teeth to make sure
they were invested in companies I felt
supported my values.
More often, money is invested more
collectively and there is no way of
knowing where that money moves and
where and what your investments are.
I suppose this situation will never
change until people can accept profit
that is "enough". For most, there is
never "enough", and so people like
Bernie Maddoff, as an example, can make
a killing...
