Freespirit, yes this is my very first water fast. I have fasted through The Master Cleanse a few times before the most being 18 days. How long was your longest water fast? Yes I do experience the physical weakness and it SUCKS. I wish I can exercise or do something at least but I know I can't because I don't want to over do it. Even while doing light housework I get this rapid heartbeat and heavy feeling in my chest. I am going to go out later and purchase some Ketostix. Thankfully, the muscle cramps have subsided .. for now that is lol

A few more questions if I may:
How much water am I supposed to be drinking. I wanted to follow the whole divide my weight by two and that number I come up with should be the number of ounces of water I should be drinking daily. Though I have read online on some forums people advising that you shouldn't really be drinking THAT much water and just a few sips a day. I am leaning more towards drinking the ounces ideal for my body weight.

Also, I have read that some people drink some carbonated water to calm down the hunger pangs and the growls. Now THAT I have A LOT of. Is that allowed or do I just stick to just plain water throughout the entire fast?

Another question I have, and I'm sorry to ask this, but how often am I supposed to BM? During the transition from The Master Cleanse to the water fast, I was doing okay. For the past 2 days I have not. I personally have not and will never try an anema. Will I be able to go on my own?
