I've had Sd for several years now. Definately not what you're describing in this case. If you familiarize yourself with this forum, you will instantly realize that dermatologists operate under the same pretext and methodology of thought. They will inevitably point you to some form of cream or lotion or topical that will either address the symptoms temporarily or worsen the entire situation. The health care system is completely broken . You have to understand that. Your physician is primarily concerned with moving you and all the like down the conveyor belt like a sector of a piece of machinery. They are also compartmentalized-meaning they are only trained to diagnose what they have seen in the Med School books and nothing more. If you acquire a condition that falls within the grey area-that requires deeper observation- expect very limited cooperation and unlikely success.

You must use innovation and critical thinking to get to the bottom of this. i would investigate damodex mites or some form of keratosis pilaris faceii. If this is truely indeed SD, as he alludes to, you will need to peruse the forum for something that works for you. No quick fix and these dermatologists are designed to play the "wheel go round game" trust me. I've been through it.
