I am 29, married with 2 children as well. I had Mirena placed 8 mths after my 2nd child. The first couple years was fine but the last few were horrible.

I had mine removed 5 yrs later this May, just finally putting 2 and 2 together about 6 mths before, that it was the MIrena causing all these things.

So yes, RUN and get that evil thing out of you!!!

250$ is crazy to have it removed, I paid 85$ because my insurance would NOT cover removal. It didnt even take 5 mins, more like 30 seconds for removal.
