no, a vacuum cleaner will not help, nor will a hepa filter. The mold spores burrow deep into the cushions and other areas of the furniture. all you are doing right now is allowing your new place to be infected with the same mold your old place was infected with

You have to immediately throw away all that furniture right now. The longer you wait the worse the problem is going to get. I speak from experience

Also, the best thing to do is throw away all of your clothing. I know that sounds expensive, but it's a lot less expensive than ruining yet another living situation

If you absolutely cannot throw away your clothes, then wash them repeatedly with color safe bleach. Also, get yourself an ozone machine like this one

You can then put your clothing in a plastic bag, put the ozone stone into the bag, close the bag around the ozone tube with a twist tie, turn on the ozone machine, and this will annihilate most of the mold in your clothing. Just set it outside on the porch when you were doing it so you don't breathe too much of the ozone

You could also use that machine to ozonate water for drinking. This will help to detox your system

Also you need vitamin C. LOTS of vitamin C. Dosage should be 3 to 5 g every 3 to 4 hours, or bowel tolerance. Carry some with you wherever you go. Taking it once or twice a day isn't going to be enough if you have severe mold poisoning
