Yes I have admitted that I eat some meat: oily fish and organic chicken.
You did not read my reasons for doing so, or just not understand them perhaps?
I shall repeat it for you just one more time.
The EFA, DHA is not converted from ALA by the body from plant sources that well, (or so it is reported) and where a deficiency of this is suspected of leading to Parkinson's Disease.
One of the most abundant sources of DHA is oily fish.
However, there is now a product on the market that provides abundant DHA from algae, so as the price drops within the near future, I shall have no need for oily fish or even chicken.
I eat chicken now in the interim, just to keep the fish from feeling lonely.
I have been vegan for nigh on thirty years and my minimal meat consumption has only been for approx' the last 6 to 9 months.
In response to your comment Goodsamaritan55..................
"Good luck to you if you create several generations of your bloodline as non-meat eaters... hell, it's not gonna happen. They will be sterile and infertile from lack of meat".
Which is complete and utter nonsense.
Read this very very carefully and note the source.............
"Evidence suggests that a woman who eliminates animal products from her diet may improve her overall ability to conceive. Consider the following:
By eliminating animal products from her diet, a woman may ovulate more regularly. A study by the University of British Columbia showed that vegetarian women ovulated normally more than 95 percent of the time. According to Neal D. Barnard, M.D., president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, this is because eliminating animal products from the diet stabilizes hormone levels. Adhering to a high-fiber vegan diet helps the body expel excess estrogen and protects one from the harmful growth hormones given to cows (which can cause a person’s hormone levels to fluctuate).
Adhering to a vegan diet can keep the ovaries healthy. Barnard’s research suggests that following a low-fat, plant-based diet can help to prevent polycystic ovary syndrome and endometriosis. It can also protect the ovaries, since one of the simple sugars in lactose is toxic to the ovaries".

AND................
"Animal protein tends to be high in saturated fats, which can increase insulin resistance, a known culprit in infertility. When there’s more insulin circulating in your body, it can affect the hormones that regulate ovulation, explains Jorge Chavarro, M.D., lead author of the Nurses’ Health Study and author of The Fertility Diet (McGraw-Hill, 2007). Insulin resistance is one component of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), another leading cause of infertility in women.
Meat, poultry, and fish also contain chemicals such as dioxins, which are known hormone disrupters. Vegetables, on the other hand, contain more protective antioxidants".
I wasn't aware that David Wolfe is related to the Aardvark family.
The raw food he eats is predominantly vegan or vegetarian with minimal meat.
If meat was that good then he and I would subsist on 98% meat.
Your comment...........
"Others resort to B12 injections for their vegan dogma".
You do not have any dogmas then? What about forcing the consumption of meat on people in your own autocratic style?
Ahh yes. The B12 issue.
Yawn yawn...
Read these very very carefully...............
